Refund and Cancellation Policy
Last updated: 22 September 2026
This policy explains how cancellations and refunds are handled for services provided by Cine Craft Advisory, operated on behalf of Cine Craft Advisory LLP and Kalpita Credit Capital Private Limited. We aim to be fair and transparent. The specific engagement terms or quotation agreed with you may set out additional or different terms for a particular service, and those will apply where they differ from this policy.
How our fees are structured
Every quotation shows two parts separately:
- Professional fee: the fee for our facilitation and compliance work, such as reviewing documents, preparing applications or returns, filing and follow-up.
- Government charges: government fees, stamp duty and other statutory charges payable to the relevant authority.
Refunds of the professional fee depend on the stage of work reached when you cancel. Government charges follow separate rules, explained below.
Cancellation before work starts
If you cancel after making a payment but before we have started work on your matter, you are eligible for a refund of the professional fee paid, less any payment-gateway charge actually deducted by the payment provider. Work is treated as started once we begin reviewing your documents, preparing drafts or setting up portal access for your matter.
Cancellation after work starts
If you cancel after we have started work but before anything has been filed with an authority, we will refund the professional fee paid, less a deduction for the work already completed. The deduction is proportionate to the stages already completed, such as document review, drafting and final review.
We will share a short summary of the work completed so that you can see how the deduction was calculated.
Cancellation after filing with the authority
Once an application, return or form has been submitted to the relevant authority, the main part of our professional work has been carried out. In this case, the professional fee for the work performed is not refundable. Where follow-up work included in the fee has not yet been carried out, a proportionate refund for that follow-up work will be considered.
A rejection, delay or query by the authority does not by itself make the professional fee refundable, because approval rests with the authority and not with us. Where a rejection results from an error on our part, we will correct the error and re-file without charging a further professional fee.
Government fees and statutory charges
Government fees, stamp duty and other statutory charges are paid to the relevant authority on your behalf. Once paid, they are not in our control and cannot be refunded by us. Any refund of such charges is subject to the rules and processes of the authority concerned, and we will help you apply for one where the rules allow.
If you cancel before a government charge has been paid to the authority, any amount you paid to us for that charge will be refunded in full.
Cancellation by us
We may decline or stop work on a matter if, for example, required documents or information are not provided, information provided appears to be false or misleading, or the work cannot lawfully be carried out. In such cases we will refund the professional fee for work not performed and any unused government charges held by us.
Situations where refunds are not available
Unless the engagement terms say otherwise, refunds are generally not available for:
- services fully completed as agreed;
- government charges already paid to the authority;
- delays caused by government processing, portal issues or officer queries; or
- outcomes decided by the authority, including rejection for reasons outside our control.
